A quickly emerging artist from Santa Barbara, California, Seven Lions, has built a name around his extraordinary brand of powerfully transcendent bass music. He has become a regular on the highly-acclaimed Anjunbeats label releasing remixes such as “The Great Divide” by Velvetine and originals such as “You Got to Go” feat. Zoe Johnson, both of which topped the Beatport charts. His OWSLA release, the Days To Come EP, climbed to #2 on the iTunes Dance Charts in the US and number #1 on Beatport. He also boasts an impressive list of other originals like “Fevers” featuring Minnesota and Mimi Page, as well as remixes for the likes of Tritonal, Paul Van Dyk, Superbus, Matrix and Futurebound, Oceanlab, and Florence and the Machine. Additionally, he has been publicly acknowledged and supported by industry leading acts such as Skrillex, Dada Life, ATB, Ellie Goulding, Kill the Noise, Zeds Dead, and Porter Robinson. Seven Lions is only just beginning his reign over the dance music world.

Seven Lions is a metal drummer turned dance music producer/DJ with pure artistic motivations that drive him to create music that is true to his heart and soul with self-reinvention as a priority. With just one listen through his most recent track, “Strangers” with Myon & Shane 54 and Tove Lo, you’ll be able to understand how his genuinely original, all-embracing style is bridging the gap between trance and bass music like never before. Not only is his music distinctive in itself, but as an artist that grew out of the metal scene, he offers as much of an outside perspective as an inside perspective on dance music, which would make for a captivating, unique story that is worth telling.
